The 100% Reliable Food Intolerance Test &
Nutritional Consultation
Food intolerance is a reaction to food that may cause unpleasant symptoms. Unlike allergies, food intolerance is unlikely to be life-threatening. There is no cure for food intolerance and the only way to prevent a reaction is to avoid the particular food. It is estimated that up to 20% of the population suffer from food intolerance and it can affect anyone at any age, but since symptoms often occur some time after food has been eaten it can be difficult to find the problem food.
Food intolerance may give rise to a wide variety of symptoms which may affect almost any organ in the body.
Patients have reported symptoms such as bloating, nausea, stomach cramps, diarrhoea, chronic migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, water retention, weight problems, depression, insomnia, constipation, asthma, anxiety, depression, headaches, hyperactivity syndrome, diarrhoea, chronic fatigue syndrome, arthritis, joint pains, skin problems, pre-menstrual syndrome, aches and pains, weakness, rhinitis, sinusitis.
Undiagnosed and thus untreated, symptoms frequently persist for decades and patients often report that multiple visits to their doctor have not resolved their problems.
Identification of problem foods and their avoidance through dietary changes can significantly improve quality of life.
Food Intolerance Testing
The incidence of food intolerance appears to be increasing. Surveys indicate that many people may be affected by food intolerance without knowing it.
Food intolerance is not usually life-threatening but can cause unpleasant symptoms. The symptoms of food intolerance can be delayed for many hours or even days and for this reason it is often hard to identify the problem foods.
Some symptoms of intolerances may be caused by an enzyme deficiency or chemical sensitivity, while others involve an immune response associated with raised levels of antibodies to the food concerned. Over time, immune complexes can become deposited in joints and other organs. If symptoms are related to this type of immune response, the detection of food specific IgG antibodies can be helpful.
A number of methods are available for assessing food intolerance. The only method for which reliable scientific data is available is by the measurement of specific IgG antibodies to foods.

Nutritional Consultation
The consultation includes a full analysis of your diet and you will be asked to complete a diet diary for 4 days prior to your appointment and a diet questionnaire.
This information will enable us to advise you on the best diet for you as an individual, taking into account your body metabolism and any foods which show up as a problem for you.
This test is not to be confused with "Vega" testing, which in our experience, is subject to mis-interpretation and can therefore be misleading to you.
The price of the blood test is passed on to you at cost and is considerably cheaper than blood tests done by post, for which you can pay up to £150.
We charge for our time with you and are always happy to give you follow-up advice, should you need it.
